Chapel was founded in 1867 and refurbished in late 1990s when it was carpeted, new heating installed and the pews replaced with chairs. Sunday School building added in 1970s. Both are brick built.

We have united services with the parish church on the second Sunday of the month.These services alternate between the two churches and start at 11.15am. There is a Sunday club for the children held in the Methodist Sunday school building. The next united service is Harvest Festival at the parish church on 11th September followed by a “Bring and Share” picnic.
We have a Fairtrade Coffee morning with Fairtrade goods for sale on the first Saturday of each month between 10am and 12 noon. Profits from the coffee and cake/biscuits goes to charity.
The Sunshine Nursery rents the Sunday school hall Mondays to Fridays and looks after pre-school children/toddlers/babies and children after school.
